Deaf Bill

This is a documentary about William 'Deaf Bill' Lee, a fisherman from Alton, IL who loved to drink and whose dead body went unclaimed by family members. Dehydrated by a special embalming process, Deaf Bill's mummified remains were placed in a funeral home closet where he became a tourist attraction for thousands of curious people until he was finally buried in 1996, over eighty years after his death.
