You are about to experience 10 dazzling days and more than 100 fantastic films from local, national, and international filmmakers. You’ll also get to enjoy special programming for kids, a one-of-a-kind craft beer event, exclusive awards parties and a chance to rub elbows with more than a few filmmakers.
For 12 years now, we’ve offered screenings and events that bring people together in all the best ways. Whether they are laughing, crying, drinking, debriefing, sipping, savoring, or leaning over to whisper an IMDB fact to their friend in the next row, Indy Film Fest creates shared experiences around film.
This year, you’ll notice that our Hoosier Lens category is bursting at the seams. As fate would have it, our Festival line-up offers a powerhouse line-up of films with strong production ties to the state of Indiana. Though our reach is global, we’re ecstatic to showcase the talent that has grown right here in our own backyard.
Thanks to our incredibly generous Kickstartin’ friends, we were able to accommodate even more innovative filmmakers from all around the globe for this year’s festival. This means you can watch a brand-new film and then connect with its creators. In person! We love this experience, and we know you will too.
You know by now that we’re more than just 10 great days. We offer year-round screenings and events, like Roving Cinema (pop-up screenings in unexpected places), Film to Fork (dinner and a movie, gourmet-style), and Cereal Cinema (Saturday morning brekkie-and-a-broadcast for the whole family).
While you’re here with us, remember that every person who makes this experience possible—from the screeners to the ticket-takers and even our Board of Directors—does this for the love of film.
